1 month

Time just flies!! Little J is 1 month old today!
I was looking at clock all day today trying to remember exactly what was going on hour by hour a month ago... at 2:09 pm exactly I gave little J a big hug and told my bf "can you believe just a month ago he was coming out of me?" (It's still hard to believe that we MADE such a cutie!)

This is just a short list of what little J has been up to:
He smiled at mommy today for the first time, made a new sound, his eye lashes doubled in size, outgrew two new born outfits already, and he's awake more during the day now! (Oh, and he's making new adorable faces!!!)

I can't wait to see what next month brings us!

Have a great weekend!

Back to Normal

Can you believe I survived two weeks without internet???!!!!!!!
Sorry if I haven't been around here lately! We moved to a new place a few weeks ago and did not have our internet connection up and running until this week. And even though I was about to go crazy without internet, it was nice to enjoy our time watching old movies, reading, making the place feel like home, actually calling people instead of facebooking them, and spending time with little J! (I also spent many hours planning several posts that I'll share with you in the next few weeks!)

This whole thing made me realize how much I depend on technology and the amount of time I usually spend online... which is a lot! I definitely need to cut down my internet time... but more on that later...

Anyway, I'm happy our internet is working now and can go back to my "normal" self... see you soon!

Book of the Month

February: The Angel’s Game by Carlos Ruíz Zafón

I read Zafón’s first novel last year and fell in love with him! The Angel’s Game has been sitting on my coffee table for months, patiently waiting for me to read it… something I HAVE TO DO this month as I try to get my life “back to normal” after all the pregnancy stress.

Zafón takes us back to the old Barcelona in this book where a young writer, David Martin, struggles to conquer the heart of the girl of his dreams and write a new book powerful enough to change people’s hearts. He soon finds himself in a gothic world surrounded by his old mansion, his words, and his impossible love.

By the way, you can actually read the first two chapters of the book on Amazon!

What are you reading this month?

5 Things Monday

5 things I'm loving right now:

1. Those eyes
2. That tiny and perfect mouth
3. That nose
4. Those hands
5. The fact that I'm his mom!

Have a great week everyone!
